Wow! This game look amazing. Its going to be a long wait until March. I know a lot of people are disappointed that this is not Half-Life 3, but I am just happy to have another game in this universe. To all of you that are upset that this is a VR only title, sorry but the future is coming whether you are ready for it or not. I am super excited to have a game of this quality to play on my Rift.
Here is the trailer:

There have been credible rumors and code/asset leaks that strongly suggested this was in development for years, but its nice to finally have it confirmed. I can’t wait to see what Valve does with VR.
We’re excited to unveil Half-Life: Alyx, our flagship VR game, this Thursday at 10am Pacific Time.
Natural Selection 2 was released in 2012. It is nearly 7 years later and the game is still getting substantial updates. This update contains a remake of a Natural Selection 1 map called “ORIGIN”, tons of balance changes, dropping DirectX 9 in favor for DirectX 11, new Temporal Anti-Aliasing options, and various other tweaks and optimizations. The full list of patch notes can be found here. If you are not familiar with Natural Selection 2, check out some gameplay videos here.

I have to say I like what I see. Game pages are way more interesting now, and the dynamic collections are pretty neat. Collections are more or less the same as the old categories we had and you can use them in the same way if you want to, but dynamic collections automatically add games into the collection based on things like genre or tags. You can also do things like sort by hours played, Metacritic score, or size on disk. That is pretty nice if you are looking for something to play or trying to clear up some space on your hard drive. It looks like a lot of games need to get some updated artwork for the new interface though. I am sure a lot of the older games will never get updated, which is unfortunate.
A new System Shock 3 trailer is out. For some reason I am having a really hard time getting excited for this one. OtherSide Entertainment’s last game was bad, so my expectations are fairly low right now. I am way more interested in the System Shock 1 Remake and System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition. This System Shock 3 trailer looks like a budget version of Prey. Now that I think about it, Prey was awesome so can we just get Prey 2 please?
