PC Gaming Show E3 2017

Since the PC as a platform doesn’t really have a corporate overlord to put on a conference, the guys over at PC Gamer have been putting on a show for the last couple of years. Its more low key and paced slower then the other conferences since it doesn’t have a ton of money behind it, but it often has some interesting demos and developer interviews. Full conference is above. Some of my personal favorite parts of the show:

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
A short video showing some of the new features coming to the extremely popular PC game. New features include climbing and vaulting as well as weather changes. Also coming is modding support and two new maps: one set in Peru and the other set in the Adriatic.

Lawbreakers
Lawbreakers is getting its last closed beta on June 28 followed by an open access beta test on June 30th. It also has a release date: August 8 on PC and Playstation 4. The game will cost $29.99

Killing Floor 2: Summer Sideshow Expansion
Killing Floor 2 is getting a free expansion this week. It includes new challenge modes, minigames, weapons, and enemies.

BattleTech
BattleTech? Now that’s a name I’ve have not heard in a long time.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition

Age of Empires is getting another update. All of the assets of the game have been updated to deliver 4k graphics. They also improved other parts of the game including AI and pathfinding as well as online multiplayer.

Lone Each & Echo Arena
The first VR game I have seen at E3 so far that looks like something I would be into.
