Over at GameDaily they are running a pretty interesting article about who they think are the most overrated people in the gaming industry. I reluctantly started reading it, expecting to disagree with practically every choice. But surprisingly I must agree with every single one of their picks. Some of them are those who have been riding on past successful games and have not really done anything to push the industry forward in years. Others are just victims of the “quarterback syndrome” where fans hold them solely responsible for the games that they have worked on, giving them too much credit and ignoring all of the other talented people on the development teams (CliffyB is a perfect example of this).
