Here are two teaser trailers that dropped the other day that are for games I am into.
First up is the newest trailer for the System Shock remake. I got to say this is looking really good. This might be the first Kickstarter I don’t regret backing.
There is a demo up on steam now, and the game is available to pre-order.
Next up is the trailer for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a Jet Set Radio-inspired action-graffiti game. I know what you are thinking, and yes the music is by Hideki Naganuma.
This game also has a page up on Steam and is available to wishlist. They are targeting a release next year.
Yeah, still playing this game. Kind of just waiting for Midair: CE though…
The Social Dilemma is a documentary-drama hybrid that explores the dangerous human impact of social networking with tech experts sounding the alarm on their own creations. Its a fantastic film and should be required viewing for anyone that spends time on social media. Most people are not aware of the extreme levels of psychological manipulation they are exposed to on services like Facebook, and the documentary should be very eye opening.
If you find the documentary interesting, I also highly recommend the book LikeWar: The Weaponization of Social Media which covers topics such as how Facebook was used to incite genocide in Myanmar, and how social media is being used to attack democracy around the world by nations such as Russia.
So I started playing this game.
